Overture 05:31
Captain Walker didn't come home His unborn child will never know him Believe him missing with a number of men Don't expect to see him again

No one knows what it's like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes No one knows what it's like To be hated To be fated To telling only lies But my dreams They aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free No one knows what it's like To feel these feelings Like I do And I blame you No one bites back as hard On their anger None of my pain and woe Can show through But my dreams They aren't as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance That's never free When my fist clenches, crack it open Before I use it and lose my cool When I smile, tell me some bad news Before I laugh and act like a fool And if I swallow anything evil Put your finger down my throat And if I shiver, please give me a blanket Keep me warm, let me wear your coat No one knows what it's like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes

We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again The change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the fold, that's all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they are flown in the last war I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again No, no! I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky Oh I know that the hypnotized never lie Do ya? There's nothing in the streets Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye And a parting on the left Is now a parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again No, no! Meet the new boss Same as the old boss

Deaf, dumb and blind boy He's in a quiet vibration land Strange as it seems, his musical dreams Ain't quite so bad Ten years old with thoughts as bold as thoughts can be Loving life and becoming wise In simplicity. Sickness will surely take the mind Where minds can't usually go Come on the amazing journey And learn all you should know A vague haze of delirium Creeps up on me All at once a tall stranger I suddenly see He's dressed in a silver sparkled Glittering gown And his golden beard flows Nearly down to the ground Nothing to say, nothing to hear Nothing to see Each sensation makes a note In my symphony Sickness will surely take the mind Where minds can't usually go Come on the amazing journey And learn all you should know His eyes are the eyes that Transmit all they know Sparkle warm crystalline glances to show He is your leader He is your guide On the amazing journey Together you'll ride

Christmas 04:42
Did you ever see the faces of the children They get so excited Waking up on Christmas morning Hours before the winter sun's ignited They believe in dreams and all they mean Including heaven's generosity Peeping round the door To see what parcels are for free In curiosity And Tommy doesn't know what day it is He doesn't know who Jesus was Or what praying is How can he be saved From the eternal grave? Surrounded by his friends He sits so silently And unaware of anything Playing poxy pinball, Picks his nose and smiles and Pokes his tongue at everything I believe in love But how can men who've never seen Light be enlightened Only if he's cured Will his spirit’s future level ever heighten And Tommy doesn't know what day it is He doesn't know who Jesus was Or what praying is How can he be saved From the eternal grave? Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy, can you hear me? Can you hear me? How can he be saved? See me, feel me, touch me, heal me! See me, feel me, touch me, heal me! Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy, can you hear me? Tommy, can you hear me? Can you, can you, can you hear me? How can he be saved? Did you ever see the faces of the children They get so excited Waking up on Christmas morning Hours before the winter sun's ignited They believe in dreams and all they mean Including heaven's generosity Peeping round the door To see what parcels are for free In curiosity And Tommy doesn't know what day it is He doesn't know who Jesus was Or what praying is How can he be saved From the eternal grave?

He seems to be completely unreceptive The tests I gave him show no sense at all His eyes react to light the dials detect it He hears but cannot answer to your call See me, feel me, touch me, heal me See me, feel me, touch me, heal me There is no chance no untried operation All hope lies with him and none with me Imagine though the shock from isolation When he suddenly can hear and speak and see See me, feel me, touch me, heal me See me, feel me, touch me, heal me His eyes can see His ears can hear his lips speak All the time the needles flick and rock No machine can give the kind of stimulation Needed to remove his inner block Go to the mirror boy! Go to the mirror boy! I often wonder what he is feeling Has he ever heard a word I've said? Look at him in the mirror dreaming What is happening in his head? Listening to you, I get the music Gazing at you, I get the heat Following you, I climb the mountain I get excitement at your feet! Right behind you, I see the millions On you, I see the glory From you, I get opinions From you, I get the story What is happening in his head Ooooh I wish I knew, I wish I knew
8.
You don't answer my call With even a nod or a wink But you gaze at your own reflection! You don't seem to see me But I think you can see yourself. How can the mirror affect you? Can you hear me Or do I surmise? That you fear me can you feel my temper Rise rise rise rise rise rise Rise rise rise rise rise rise rise Do you hear or fear or Do I smash the mirror? Do you hear or fear or Do I smash the mirror?

I'm Free 02:40
I'm free I'm free And freedom tastes of reality I'm free I'm free An' I'm waiting for you to follow me If I told you what it takes To reach the highest high You'd laugh and say 'nothing's that simple' But you've been told many times before Messiahs pointed to the door And no one had the guts to leave the temple! I'm free I'm free And freedom tastes of reality I'm free I'm free An' I'm waiting for you to follow me How can we follow? How can we follow?
10.
Baba O'Riley 05:13
Out here in the fields I fight for my meals I get my back into my living I don't need to fight To prove I'm right I don't need to be forgiven Don't cry Don't raise your eye It's only teenage wasteland Sally take my hand We'll travel south cross land Put out the fire And don't look past my shoulder The exodus is here The happy ones are near Let's get together, before we get much older Teenage wasteland It's only teenage wasteland Teenage wasteland Oh yeah, teenage wasteland They're all wasted!

about

Daisy has collaborated with superstar musicians worldwide, but this is her first venture into rock music. Her new album of The Who violin arrangements has been an exciting and blissful journey. Coming from an idyllic classical music childhood, Daisy only recently found out about The Who (hence Who's The Who?!), and has become intoxicatedly in love with their genius music. There are so many incredible Who songs she could have covered, but once she had heard these 11 songs, there was no going back. She was hooked.
In Daisy's words "I am infinitely grateful to be playing this stunning music by Pete Townsend and The Who.”
The team for this album is extraordinary, and it has been a great privilege and joy for Daisy to work with them all. She is thrilled to share the full album with you all on September 10, 2019.
